Valley Forge National Historic Park *

History and nature
Valley Forge is the historic site of George Washington's brutal winter encampment during the Revolutionary War, and this park pays homage to that. But it is also 3,500 acres of beautiful protected land that is perfect for exploring whether or not you are a history buff.
